Akebono Introduces Six New Part Numbers, Expanding Aftermarket Coverage for 1.7 Million Vehicles

Farmington Hills, Mich. – August 28, 2018 – Akebono Brake Corporation has recently introduced six new part numbers to its Pro-ACT® and EURO® Ultra-Premium Ceramic Disc Brake Pad lines, expanding vehicle coverage by 1.7 million vehicles. 

The part introductions add coverage to late model vehicles from five Ford and Lincoln models fitting almost 750,000 vehicles, as well as front brake pads for the Kia Sedona and Jeep Cherokee models adding another 700,000.

Also included in these newly release parts is Akebono's Award Wining EURO Brake Pad Line; which added front and rear coverage for many 2012 - 2017 BMW sedans and coupes with the performance brake option.
